WörterQuest

Have you ever found yourself tired after a long language learning session, too exhausted to write down vocabulary from Google Translate? Or maybe you found a great list of new words and wanted to learn them by making a crossword, but had no idea how?
If yes, this app is for you :D
I created this app for myself while learning basic German. The goal was simple: I wanted an easy way to save words and sentences from Google Translate when I finished studying for the day. All you need to do is copy the original text and its translation, paste them into the correct fields, press two buttons, and your vocabulary is saved.
But that’s not all. If you find a list of words separated by dashes (for example: die Katze – cat, der Hund – dog), you can paste the whole list into the “original” field and the app will automatically split each line for you. No need to create every flashcard manually — you’ll save a lot of time.
Later, you can add more words, edit what you’ve already saved, and most importantly, practice them in (relatively) fun games. Test your memory, your spelling, your knowledge of articles, or even create a crossword puzzle from your own vocabulary collection.
For now, the app mainly supports learning German. However, you can turn off the German keyboard and try to use it for any Latin-alphabet-based language (or any left-to-right alphabetic language probably). Just ignore the gender-related games and editing features, and be careful with crosswords :P
In the future, I plan to add more international support and additional games. I’m open to suggestions, so don’t hesitate to let me know what you’d like to see — or if you find any bugs!
Unfortunately Itchio doesn't support copy-pasting stuff into games or apps, so if you want to see full potential of WörterQuest please download desktop version. You can still use the app online: have fun with sample bases or write some words manually, but for the best experience I definetly recommand .exe version.
